DXpeditions

Since 2004 the club has run a mini-dxpedition to one of the Scottish islands, beginning with a visit to Arran in 2004. More recently the club joined forces with the Sands Contest Group for a much larger trip to Jura in 2008. As we are a radio club our callsign prefix is MX0 signifying a club station in England. When in Scotland our callsign prefix changes to MS0 so our call becomes MS0WRC when we are on the Scottish islands. See the table below for a full list of possible club prefixes.

Plans for our 2009 trip are well advanced with accommodation and ferries booked. See the Barra 2009 page under the DXpeditions heading for more info.

The other pages describe our exploits over the last 4 years or so and hopefully provide an insight into the things we have learned along the way.
