Mull 2005 – Iona Pictures
Mark – 2E0MAX took some time to visit Iona which is a short ferry crossing from Mull. It’s not possible to visit with a vehicle so Mark carried his portable station with him in a backpack.
Iona
Not quite the whole of the Island is shown but there’s not much more !!!!
Ferry
Again Caledonian MacBrayne operate the ferry which runs very frequently between Mull and Iona and cost just £3.75 for a return trip.
Beach Operation
Mark’s gear on the beach at Iona. Quite a bit to carry along with the ATAS antenna. Left it there while he went to the shop for a few postcards and had a look around. Where else would you dare to do that and get away with it ??
