Skye 2006 – Main Location
Edinbane
The Village of Edinbane was the location of our main station. The Village is located to the North of Skye approx 10 miles West from Portree.

Cobwebb
5 Band cobwebb antenna stood on the hill above the cottage.
The Hill
Behind the cottage there’s quite a large hill which does cut down the signals to the East.
Moxon
Testing out the vertical Moxon antenna before we unleased it at the beach.
20M Delta
2 Ele delta beam pointed to the West.
Antena Farm
Inverted Vee’s for 40 / 80 plus a co-linear for 2 M finished off the antenna farm ….. for now !!!

The Maxter
Mark 2E0MAX operating MS0WRC on 40M. The radio is the club Yaesu FT920 with other equipment in the background including a 2M packet and HF data station.
DX Bedroom
HF CW, data and SSB station next to the bed, ideal for that early morning DX.
The Logger
Brian, G0OMB / G8RZ keeping the logs upto date.
The Chef
Mark in the kitchen, he did an excellent job keeping us all fed and watered for the week.
Peace Returns
6 Days, 4 operators and 2300 QSO’s later peace returns to Edinbane.
